How to Transfer From Windows Media Player to a Disk

Transferring music from your Windows Media Player Library to a disk is important when you want to listen to music when you are away from your computer. Although Windows Media Player does not actually store your music, the program does allow you to access, organize and transfer your media files. By burning an audio CD in Windows Media Player, you can play your favorite songs on almost any CD player. In addition to burning audio CDs, you can burn data CDs and DVDs using Windows Media Player. Data CDs and DVDs can hold music, videos and pictures but DVDs hold significantly more data than a CD.
