Members often meet for lunches where they listen to business updates. They also organize events to promote business in Tarrant County. People who want to form connections with the county's business owners can join as many chambers as they wish. For example, belonging to the Forth Worth Chamber of Commerce wouldn't preclude someone from joining the Northwest Tarrant Chamber of Commerce.

      Pick which chamber of commerce to join by contacting the Tarrant County offices and asking for a list. The county has nearly 30 chambers of commerce. Some are centered around towns, such as the Forth Worth Chamber of Commerce, and others focus on regions, such as the South Tarrant County Chamber of Commerce.

      Contact the chamber of commerce that you want to join by calling or logging onto the website. Tell the person on the phone that you want to join, and ask how you do that. If logging onto the chamber's website, many times you will find a link that reads, "membership." Most chambers of commerce will have you fill out a form with your name, address, business name and type.

      Pay membership fees. Fees vary from chamber to chamber and also depend on the size of the business. Many chambers of commerce also offer deluxe membership packages for an added fee that can include extras such as free tickets to chamber events.
