How to Get Directions on Your Phone
Many modern cell phones have a built-in GPS that allows satellites to pick up the location of your device and display it on a map. This feature makes it easier to cope with uncertain journeys because it allows you to get exact, step-by-step directions based on where you are. To do this, you must access Google Maps from your device.

Point your mobile phone browser to "m.google.com/maps" and click "Install Now."

Wait for the download to finish, navigate to your "Downloads" or "Applications" folder and select "Google Maps" to run the program.

Read through the terms and conditions and select "Accept" if you do. Wait for Google Maps to pick up your location; this should take no more than 10 seconds.

Open the "Menu" and select "Get Directions." If you want directions from an area other than your location, click "Start Point" and enter the address; if not, select "My Location."

Select "End Point," enter the address of the place you wish to travel to and press "OK." Select a travel method and select "Get Directions."

Read through the step-by-step directions provided on screen. To view these directions on the map, select "Show On Map." The route will be shown as a blue line.
