How to Find a Movie Title Based on the Story

The Internet Movie Database is a website dedicated to everything movie, television and video game related. On IMDB.com, you can find information about your favorite actors, movies shot in certain locations, trivia, quotes, plot lines and more.

Instructions

1. Go to http://www.imdb.com/ and click on the drop down area in the search bar.

2. Select Advanced Search.

3. Scroll down the page until you see the heading Title Text Search.

4. Click on the drop-down menu arrow and choose Plot.

5. Enter a couple words that best describe the plot of the movie you are looking for in the search bar and click Submit Query.

• If you don't like the results for your first search, try different words or phrases.
