How to Get the Embed Code for a Google Map
Google Maps can be embedded on any website using the customizable embed code provided through the Google Maps interface. Once a location or directions have been configured through Google Maps, simply set the embed code size and display features and then copy and paste the simple HTML code provided on your blog or website to display an embedded version of the Google Map.

Launch a Web browser and navigate to Google Maps.

Type your location or directions query into the search box, then press "Search Maps."

Customize your location or direction results by dragging the location pin or navigational line.

Click "Link" and then click "Customize and preview embedded map."

Customize the size of the map by selecting "Small," "Medium," or "Large." Alternatively, you can input custom dimensions for the map. A preview of the map will be displayed below the size customization controls.

Customize the initial state of the map by clicking and dragging the map image.

Copy the HTML code displayed in the text box found at the bottom of the map customization window.

Embed the map on your website by pasting the code copied in Step 7 within the HTML source of your website.

Embed the map as a new entry on your blog by pasting the code copied in Step 7 in the blog composition window. Once the code is pasted, simply publish the entry to display the embedded map on your blog.
