How to Remove Formatting in Microsoft Word 2007
Formatting changes the way text appears, converting plain text into more advanced visual forms. Types of such formatting include bolding, underlining, italics, nonstandard sizes and fonts, colored text, strike-throughs and other font styles and effects. Basically, clearing all formatting returns the text to your standard settings, based on your "Normal" template.
