How to Set Up a Network on an HP CLJ 2550
The HP Color LaserJet 2550 is a network-based printer designed for offices, schools or other large organizations. The printer itself does not control the network but is connected to it. Once connected, you install the printer on each computer individually. Windows now fully integrates with network printers. The printer will automatically filter the print queue from various other printers.

Connect the HP Color LaserJet 2550 via the provided Ethernet jack to your network router or hub.

Click "Start," "Devices and Printers" on one of the network computers.

Click "Add a printer."

Click "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer."

Click the "HP Color LaserJet 2550" from the list and then "install driver." Enter your password and press "Enter." Follow the on-screen instructions and insert, if prompted, the installation disc into your computer. Click "Finish" at the end.
