How to Set a Yahoo! Clock

Save

The time is displayed when you sign into your Yahoo! account. This time shows on emails, articles and your Yahoo! profile page. The clock is set automatically according to your selected time zone when you set up your Yahoo! account. If this time is wrong, it may mean you have the wrong time zone selected for your account. Check the information in your account settings, and change it if necessary so that the clock reflects the correct time.

  • Sign in to your Yahoo! account with your Yahoo! ID and password.

  • Click your name where it appears next to "Hi" in the upper right-hand corner of your page. You are now on your Yahoo! profile page.

  • Select the "Account Info" tab. Enter your password again if prompted.

  • Find "Account Settings," and click "Set Language, Site, Time Zone."

  • Choose your time zone preference from the drop-down menu.

  • Click "Finished" when you are done with your time zone selection. The changes will take effect immediately.

Tips & Warnings

  • Contact Yahoo! Customer Care on the Yahoo! website if you still have problems with your clock.
