How to Unlock the Pawn Shop on "The Sims 3" Game for the iPod Touch

The Sims 3 is a computer and video game that simulates the life of user-created characters. While playing The Sims, you will control your Sim in activities and relationships in a similar way as you would in real life. Game play is open-ended and can continue forever. The Sims 3 also is available on mobile devices, such as cell phones or the iPod Touch. Game play on the iPod Touch is much more simple than the computer version of the game. In the mobile version of the game, there are certain buildings that have to be "unlocked" before you can interact with them. The Pawn Shop must be "unlocked" before you can use it to buy things, such as a car.

Instructions

1. Watch out for new goals to become available for your Sim in the course of the Sim's daily life. Goals may include anything from "Buy a new couch" to "Kiss another Sim." Goals will frequently become available for your Sim.

2. Check your goals by clicking the goal meter at the bottom of the screen. This will show all of the current goals. There are a total of 75 goals that your Sim can receive.

3. Keep track of all the goals that your Sim has and complete them as they come up. Each goal will need to be "locked in" when it comes up, so that you can complete it before it expires. Otherwise, if it expires, you would have to create a new Sim to receive that goal again. Once you complete all 75 goals, the Pawn Shop will be unlocked.
