    • 2

Place a tortilla on one wet towel and cover it with the other towel.

    • 3

Microwave the tortilla for approximately 30 to 40 seconds or until it is soft and pliable, being careful not to overheat or it will harden.

    • 4

Lay the warm tortilla flat on a plate.

    • 5

Spoon your choice of fillings onto the tortilla, ensuring that you leave about a 2 -inch margin around the tortilla.

    • 6

Fold the left half of the tortilla over to the right so that it completely covers the food.

    • 7

Fold the bottom of the tortilla up toward the middle about 2 inches.

    • 8

Fold the top of the tortilla about 2 inches down toward the middle.

    • 9

Rotate the tortilla so that the length of the folded side is toward you and roll the burrito away from you until it's completely folded.

Tips & Warnings

  • Eat the burrito from either short end, as this ensures that the food will remain inside its wrapper.

  • Corn tortillas are not thick enough for burritos.

  • Consider making a breakfast burrito that is filled with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and cheese.
