How to Turn Off the Flames in "Guitar Hero 3" for the PC

Unleash the rock star within as you strum alongside the biggest rock heroes of all time while fronting your band toward stardom. Guitar Hero 3, the third main installment in the "Guitar Hero" series, is the highest-grossing video game in American history according to the National Purchase Diary. The PC version of the game is a direct replica of the Xbox 360 version, which includes an "X-plorer" model guitar controller. Due to the radical transformation from console to PC, you may find some of the visual effects, such as flames on power boost notes, a hindrance. Luckily, there is a simple method to remove them.

Instructions

1. Load "Guitar Hero 3" on your PC.

2. On the home screen, go to "Options" and then "Graphics".

3. Change the "Lens Flare" option to "Off"
