How to Volunteer After 50 Years Old in the Peace Corps
According to the Peace Corps's website, there is no maximum age beyond which a candidate cannot become a volunteer. Age-wise, volunteers must simply be 18 years of age or older. Indeed, there are multiple areas a volunteer who is over 50 could become a part of. These areas include education, youth and community development, health, business and information, communication technology, agriculture and the environment. A volunteer who is over 50 should choose an area which he or she is personally interested in; doing so will make the Peace Corps experience even more exciting and fulfilling.
