How to Disable Sound on Mozilla Firefox
Unlike other browsers, Mozilla Firefox lacks the option to disable sounds from websites, such as embedded audio files or flash animation. This may leave you thinking you have to endure these sounds or turn off your speakers. However, another option is embedded in your operating system. Windows 7 includes an integrated mixer, which allows you to selectively mute applications that are actively playing sounds.
