Drink 12 ounces of coconut water.
Drink 12 ounces of pure water.
Drink another 12 ounces of coconut water only if constipation relief is not experienced within one hour.
Drink another 12 ounces of pure water.
Repeat the process up to three times until coconut water creates a laxative effect.

- For those who do not like the taste of coconut water, pouring it over ice or chilling it before drinking can help give it a better taste.
- Bowel tolerance will determine how much coconut water one can drink without having loose stools. Bowel tolerance will likely increase if coconut water is frequently used.
