Many women believe that a good man is hard to find. While this may be true in some instances, it does not mean that finding a man you can begin a relationship with is impossible. Whether you are in school, a single mother, or in the workforce, finding a man is easy if you spend time in the right places and make yourself available for dating. To find the best man for you, expand your social network to meet new people.

1. Groom yourself properly. Physical attractiveness plays a key role in helping you to find a mate. As such, take a trip to the beauty parlor for a haircut and make sure your nails are clean and well-manicured. Apply a fresh-smelling scent as well to draw the attention of men.

2. Choose a neat and attractive outfit. Wear an outfit that flatters your body type and is free of stains and wrinkles.

3. Visit places that have a variety of men to choose from. Bars, lounges, or sporting events are places where many single men frequent. Additionally, you may also meet a man at your local church or during recreational events like dance classes, the gym or even volunteering. You may also consider using online dating sites to find men in your area who meet your specified criteria.

4. Smile at a man and approach him if he is alone or with other male friends. Check that he is not married by glancing at his ring finger to be sure that he is single.

5. Introduce yourself and begin to make small talk. You can discuss things that the two of you have in common like attending the same school, living in the same city, or enjoying the same sports. Keep the conversation going by making jokes and asking questions about him.

6. Ask him if he would like to meet again later and ask for his phone number. If he is interested, exchange numbers so that you can arrange for a later date.
