1
Create a Parisian knot. Fold the scarf in half lengthwise. Drape the folded scarf over the back of your neck with an even half hanging down each side of your chest. Take the two loose ends on one side and pull them through the loop created from the other side of the scarf. Pull the loose ends down until the loop hits your neck and creates a snug enclosure around your neck.

Drape a long, lightweight scarf. For a bohemian look, drape the whole length of the scarf behind your neck with two even ends hanging down the front. Grab one end and wrap around your neck in one whole revolution so the end dangles slightly down the front. The opposite end can either hang in place or can be draped down your back.

Make a bow knot at the neck. Drape the scarf around the back of your neck with two even sides hanging down. Fold one end of the scarf over the other so that these cross slightly. Take the top layer and wrap it down and below the other layer.
Pull the first section of the scarf up and through the opening next to the neck. Only pull about 8 inches of the scarf up through the opening and do not pull the whole length through. Pull the semi-knot tight so it is snug against your neck. Puff out the nub of fabric to create a bow effect at the neck.

Let the scarf drape on each side of your chest. This style works well with a shorter scarf for men and a lightweight, cotton scarf for women.
