Depending on the game you're trying to watch and your proximity to the team in question, there are ways to can watch baseball free of charge on either your TV or computer. Check your local television listings to find out which station is broadcasting games involving your local team. Most areas that have a Major League Baseball team broadcast games on free-to-air local stations. These stations can be picked up with a regular antenna on your television set.

Use the online streaming service available through ESPN.com. Load the ESPN "Watch Live Streaming Baseball Online" page into your computer's browser and click "Live." Select your Internet service provider from the drop-down menu and click "Continue." Log onto the site using your Internet service provider's user name and password. The current game will be displayed in your browser.

Use the "Video" section at MLB.com. Load the main MLB.com website and click "Video" at the top of the screen. Specific major games, like the All-Star Game or the World Series, are shown in their entirety on MLB.com at no charge to the user. Click the name of the game you want to watch to view the game live on your computer.
