How to Nurse in a Maya Wrap
Using a Maya Wrap allows you to get things done while carrying baby -- including nursing. The wrap allows for different carrying positions to grow with your baby. It holds a baby up to 35 pounds and comes in four fully adjustable sizes. A Maya Wrap provides extra support and coverage for a nursing baby. The baby is supported in a nursing position while the open tail of the wrap acts as a covering.
Instructions

1
Start in seated position, which will be easier to put your baby in nursing position.
-
2
Put the sling on yourself by sliding one arm through the wrap and pulling the wrap over your head to rest the ring on the opposite shoulder. Loosen the sling by feeding the fabric out from the ring.
-
-
3
Place baby in the sling. Baby's head should be opposite of the rings and feet hanging out below the rings.
-
4
Encourage the baby to latch on and begin nursing.
-
5
Slowly tighten the sling around the baby by pulling the tail of the fabric straight down.
-
6
Check in a mirror to see that your baby is fully supported by the wrap.
-
7
Pull the tail over the baby's head for more privacy.
-
8
Once the baby is secured in the wrap, you can get up and walk around.
