1
Mix the liquor product or alcoholic product for the drink with the mixed drink materials. For example, mix rum with strawberry daiquiri mix. This makes the base of the mixed drink, though the mix and alcohol will vary depending on what you are making. Usually 1 ounce to 1 ½ ounces of alcohol is used. The mix will vary depending on the drink and your personal tastes, but usually fills up most of the glass or cup for the drink.

2
Pour the mixture into a blender and add ice or ice cream as appropriate for the drink. Most frozen drinks, like daiquiris and frozen margaritas, will use ice. Other drinks, like a mudslide, use ice cream instead for an added sweet and creamy taste. When using ice cream, put in 1 ½ scoops to 2 scoops of ice cream. If using ice, the amount will vary, but usually between five and seven normal sized cubes is enough.

Serve immediately. If you cannot serve it immediately, put the frozen drink in the freezer to prevent the ice or ice cream from melting.
