How to Make a Wreath Form
When different holidays approach, such as Thanksgiving, Halloween or Christmas, you can decorate tastefully by hanging up a festive wreath that is on-theme for the event. However, buying a new wreath for each occasion can be expensive. One solution is to make a wreath form, which you can decorate and redecorate every time a new holiday arrives. You can make a wreath form using a few basic, inexpensive craft materials that can be found at any craft supply store.

1
Lay a foam craft ring onto a flat surface. Select a foam ring in the size that you prefer, such as 12 or 18 inches in diameter.
-
2
Tie a few long pieces of raffia onto the foam ring, and wrap the raffia around the foam ring. Continue adding and wrapping the raffia until none of the foam shows through.
-
-
3
Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun, and plug it in to heat up for five minutes.
-
4
Squeeze a dollop of hot glue onto the back of the wreath form, and press the ends of the raffia onto the hot glue. Hold the raffia in place for two minutes for the glue to harden. This will secure the loose ends of raffia, and will complete the wreath form. You can now add on the items that you want to decorate your wreath with.
