How to Make a Purse out of a Handkerchief

      Fold the handkerchief in half diagonally with the right side of the handkerchief to the inside.

      Sew two straight seams -- one on each side of the triangle -- perpendicular to the folded edge where the height of the side of the triangle is 4 inches. Trim the side points of the triangle off 1/4 inch from the seam.

      Turn the handkerchief pouch right side out. Tie the two top points of the handkerchief together to form the handle of the purse.
