How to Polish With Zildjian
If you're a drummer, then you own a drum set and likely have a set of cymbals to go with them. Just like everything else in a drum set, those cymbals need maintenance, and to prevent tarnish you should polish the surface regularly. Zildjian, a cymbal manufacturer, also makes a Zildjian polish, designed to remove dirt and shine up the cymbal. Using the polish is similar to polishing or waxing your car, and takes just a little bit of time to do properly.

Take the cymbals out of their storage bags, or off of their stands using your hands. Place the cymbals in a bathtub or the sink and clean it off using the mild dish soap and the sponge. Allow the cymbal to soak for a few minutes and then dry it off using the towel. Scrub the cymbal with a scrub brush if they're really dirty.

Tips & Warnings
If you feel the cymbals just need a quick clean, buy a spray cleaner and try that instead. This allows you to maintain the cleanliness of the cymbal in between polishing.
