Use a pencil to draw the body of your ladybug.

Start by drawing a large circle in the center of the page; this will be the body of the ladybug. It can be as big or as small as you would like. Make sure there is enough room on the page for its head and legs. Use a ruler to draw a straight line down the center of the circle, separating it into halves; this will be the wings of your ladybug.

Use a ruler to center your ladybug's head.

Draw the head. Above where you divided the wings, make a semicircle head. It should be rounded with no dips or jagged edges. Grab a protractor or another rounded object if your lines are not straight and use it to make the perfect semicircle.

Go to the left side of the ladybug and draw three short curved lines, evenly spaced apart. Go to the right side of the ladybug and draw three short curved lines parallel to the lines on the left side. These are your ladybug's legs.

Grab a rounded object, like a marker, pen or glue stick and trace its edges to make a perfect circle. Draw an odd number of spots on your ladybug. The circles shouldn't cross the center line. Add curled antennas to the top of your ladybug. They should be slightly longer than the legs and curled upward.

      Color your ladybug with crayons.

Grab crayons, markers or colored pencils and color your ladybug. Its legs, antennae, head and spots should be black, and its body should be red. Look over your ladybug after it has been colored. Thicken its legs and antennae if necessary. Round the edges of the body if its shape has shifted, and if spots are misshapen use black to round them out.
