How to Get Cherubi in "Pokemon HeartGold"
Sometimes you have to shake a tree to see what fruit or Pokemon fall out. "Pokemon HeartGold" is a remake of the 1999 release "Pokemon Gold and Silver." The storyline remains the same in the remake, with the addition of a few new missions and new Pokemon. One of the more elusive Pokemon to catch is the Cherubi. The Cherubi is a grass-type Pokemon found in wooded areas like forests. To catch this Pokemon you must use your head.

Travel south on Route 31 to Violet City.

Travel west through Violet City to Route 36.

Maneuver through the trees and continue on the dirt path headed west.

Travel through two gate houses and continue into the National Park.

Head northwest through the crooked path.

Enter the field through the small opening between the boy and the lamp post.

Use rock climb when you reach the plateau located east of the lamp post.

Use headbutt on the last tree on the left. The Cherubi will appear and attack you.
Capture

Attack Cherubi with a Pokemon between Levels 25 and 50. You do not want to cause it to faint. One hit should bring it down or close to critical.

Defend against the Cherubi attack.

Throw a Pokeball to capture Cherubi.
