Log in to Windows as the administrator.

Open the "Start" menu, and click "Control Panel." Click "View Installed Updates," listed beneath "Programs and Features."

Select the outdated update you wish to remove, and click "Uninstall." Confirm the action and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstall. Restart the computer after finishing.
