How to Make a PGP Key
PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) keys are used for the encryption purposes of PGP Desktop, a data encryption software. PGP is often used in messaging services. A PGP key is essentially a code that decrypts messages when you receive them on your inbox. You may need administrative rights to complete this task.

Launch your PGP Desktop software from the "Start" menu.

Click "File," "New PGP Key," "Next."

Type the full name and email address that you wish to associate with the key. Click "More" if you want to associate additional email addresses.

Review the information and click "Next."

Type a pass phrase for the key. Retype to confirm. Click "Next."

Click "Next" and enter the pass phrase again if prompted.

Click the link sent to you via email ROM the Global Directory. Follow on-screen prompts to import and sign the Global Directory's verification key.
