How to Change Properties in Powerpoint 2007

PowerPoint 2007 is the presentation software in the Microsoft Office suite. Use it when you need to present ideas to an audience or group of people on your team. When creating the PowerPoint presentation, you may choose to edit the file properties. The properties can include the following information: document author, subject, title and comments. Once these fields are updated, they remain with the document until they are removed.

      Open "PowerPoint 2007," and click the "Office" button. Select "Open." Browse the files and locate the presentation. Click the presentation and the "Open" button. The presentation opens.

      Click the "Office" button and click "Prepare."

      Select "Properties." Review the available fields and add your presentation details. Include information in the author, title, subject, keywords, category, status and comments field if necessary. Click the right "X" to close the properties box when you are done.
