Filing a complaint about your United States Postal Service (USPS) delivery person or office location is simple. The USPS is determined to keep customers satisfied and relies on feedback to help resolve issues that require assistance.       Visit the United States Postal Service website (usps.com) to file a complaint with the postal service by email. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Customer Service" link at the bottom.

      Select the "Send Us an Email" link and click on it. From the drop down menu choose "Problem" and click on the type of complaint you have. Choose any other options that apply to your complaint and click "Continue."

      Enter the date you encountered problems with USPS, your name, address and the additional information regarding your issue. Be as specific as possible. Continue to send your request to USPS for further assistance.

    Phone Complaints

      Call USPS at 800-275-8777 to file a complaint over the phone. Complaints can be made Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. (EST) and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (EST).

      Listen to the voice messaging system and push the numbers on your phone that correspond with the selections you want. You will be directed to an operator to make your complaint.

      Detail your complaint to the USPS operator. Provide your name and contact information and as much detail as you can regarding the issue you encountered.
