How to Make Yogurt-Covered Food
Yogurt is a nutritious food made from fermented milk. It is a good source of calcium, phosphorous and iodine and also contains lactobacillus, a probiotic bacteria than can be good for your health. Research has also shown that eating yogurt may help lengthen your life. Yogurt can be added to a variety of foods and can be used to make yogurt covered snacks. Things You'll Need
- 2 cups yogurt (plain or flavored)
- 5 cups confectioners' sugar
- Large mixing bowl
- Hand blender
- Pretzels, raisins or nuts
- Tongs or chopsticks
- Wax paper
- Cookie sheet

Place yogurt in mixing bowl.

Slowly pour in confectioners sugar, mixing with hand blender, until the sugar has been mixed into the yogurt and the mixture is smooth.

Use tongs or chopsticks to dip pretzels into bowl and coat with mixture. If coating nuts or raisins, pour them into the bowl and stir until they are coated.

Place pretzels, raisins or nuts on cookie sheet covered with wax paper until they are dry.

To speed drying, place the pretzels, raisins or nuts in the refrigerator or in an oven that has been heated to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, then turned off before placing the cookie sheet inside with the door open.
