Paint butterflies using this simple technique.

Butterflies are beautiful and majestic creatures. Their elegant wings show off a variety of colors and designs. When you paint your own butterflies, you can choose to render in a realistic or fantastical way, depending on your preference. Although you can paint butterflies in a variety of different mediums, acrylic paint will allow you to layer the basic shades and textures of the butterfly wings. For this painting process, you will create each butterfly using a series of layers.
