  • Gardening gloves
  • Garden trowel
  • White vinegar
  • Masonry sand

Instructions

    • 1

      Wear gardening gloves and grip the weeds as close to the base as you can. Pull up on the weeds to remove them.

      Dig out the remaining roots by scraping the area with a garden trowel.

    • 3

      Pour straight white vinegar into the space where you dug out the weeds. This will help kill any remaining roots and prevent future weed growth.

    • 4

      Fill the cracks in the sidewalk where you dug up the weeds with masonry sand. This further keeps the weeds from coming back.
