Is There a Way to Change or Move Your Chat Box in "WoW"?

The "World of Warcraft" chat box is responsible for showing more than what is said in the chat channels. Combat information, whispers and loot information also appears within the chat frame. By default, the chat box is located on the lower left side of the screen. The chat box may obstruct your view of certain interface add-ons. Fortunately, you can resize the chat box and move it to anywhere on the screen.

Instructions

1. Right-click the "General" tab above the chat box. Click "Unlock."

2. Click and hold the "General" tab. Move your mouse and the chat box will follow.

3. Click and hold the small icon in the right corner of the chat box. Move your mouse down to increase the length of the chat box, up to decrease the size, left to decrease the horizontal size and right to increase the horizontal size.

4. Right-click "General" and click "Lock" when you are satisfied with the position and size of the box.
