How to Delete "Compact on Close" in Access 2007
There are many features with Microsoft Office Access 2007 that can help you fix errors or issues you are experiencing either with the program or with a specific database file. For example, you can use the 'compact on close' feature to have your database file compacted every time you close Access 2007. However, with this feature turned on, it can take a while to exit the program. You can manually delete the 'compact on close' feature by disabling it in Access Options.
