Instructions

Rinse the teak as needed with your hose to rid any loose buildup from the wood.

    • 2

Mix 1 gallon water with 1/4 cup dish soap. Dip your cleaning rag in the mix and scrub over the wood to remove light soil and bird droppings. Rinse the teak with the hose after cleaning.

    • 3

Soak a clean rag with teak oil and rub across the teak, following the woodgrain. Let the teak oil air-dry to naturally restore moisture and color to the wood.

    • 4

Sand the teak with a fine-grain sandpaper as needed when it begins to look dull. Sand following the grain of the teak and continue until you are satisfied with the result. Wipe off any excess dust with a cleaning rag or rinse with the garden hose and allow to air-dry.

Apply another coat of teak oil to enhance the natural color of the teak.
