Make Internet Explorer stop hiding the Address bar.

Internet Explorer is Microsoft's Web browser. It is available only for the Windows operating system. Each Internet Explorer window includes rows of options near the top of the window called "toolbars." Each toolbar can have buttons and text-entry fields. In particular, the Address bar displays the Web address of the current page and allows the user to type the Web address of the page he wants to navigate to. Internet Explorer shows or hides each toolbar, depending on its configuration. You can prevent the Address bar from hiding by reconfiguring Internet Explorer.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on "Start," and then click "Internet Explorer" to launch Internet Explorer.

    • 2

Click "Tools," and then click "Toolbars." Locate the "Address" toolbar in the list. Click on it until you see a check mark next to it. After this configuration step, Internet Explorer will display the Address bar.

    • 3

Click "Tools," and then click "Toolbars." Select "Lock the toolbars." After this configuration step, Internet Explorer will prevent the Address bar from hiding.
