How to Clear the Google Search History in IE 6

The Google Search is an optional toolbar that can be installed in your Web browser. It allows you to conduct Internet searches exclusively with the Google Search Engine. Your Web browser keeps a search history of the most recent websites that you have visited. Google Search is compatible with most browsers including Internet Explorer 6. If you don't want others knowing what you searched for and the sites you visited, you can clear and permanently delete the history.

Instructions

1. Click "Tools" from the top menu of Internet Explorer 6.

2. Click "Internet Options."

3. Click the "General" tab from the Internet Options window.

4. Click the "Clear History" button.

5. Click "OK" to exit the Internet Options window.
