How to Set Styles & Fonts in Word 2007
Microsoft Word 2007 allows you to set fonts and font styles of your documents. Word 2007 has advanced features that enable you to customize documents, according to your preference. Unlike text editors such as Notepad, Word 2007 is word-processing software that enables you to set different paragraphs in the same document with different fonts and styles. In fact, each letter in the document can have a different font and style.

Click "Start." Point to "All Programs" and then click "Microsoft Word 2007."

Type the content you wish in the Word document.

Click at the beginning of a sentence or paragraph whose font and style you want to change. Press and hold the "Shift" key on your keyboard and then press the right-pointing arrow key on the keyboard. Leave the keys once you have reached the end of the sentence or paragraph whose font and style you want to change.

Press the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard. Press "D".

Click the "Font" tab on the Font dialog box that opens.

Click the "Font" drop-down box and then choose the font of your choice (For example, Times New Roman). This will be applied to the selected sentence or paragraph.

Click the "Font style" drop-down box and then select the font style of your choice. Available option includes Regular, Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic.

Click the "OK" button.
