Customize your Motorola Q9c's Start menu so it suits your needs.

Sprint's Motorola Q9c includes plenty of features and tools to keep you busy, including a 1.3 megapixel camera, GPS and a media player. The phone also runs the Windows Mobile 6 operating system. With this system, many programs are listed on the "Start" menu, just as they are on a Windows-based computer. This allows you to access a program in just a few clicks. If you have icons for programs you don't use on your Start menu, it's possible to delete them.

Instructions

    • 1

Power on the Motorola Q9m. Click "Start," and then select "Personalize My Q."

    • 2

Click "Start Menu View." Scroll to and select the "Menu" option.

    • 3

Click on the "Start" menu option. A list of icons is shown. These are the icons that can be placed on the Start menu, as well as the icons that are currently on the menu.

    • 4

Click on the icons to select or de-select them. De-selected icons are removed from your Start screen and don't appear there. Selected items are shown when you open the Start menu. Close the window when you are finished.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you select the "View" option, you're able to change the way your start menu icons are shown, such as in list or grid form.
