You can delete all the stored contacts on your BlackBerry 7290 through the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software.The BlackBerry 7290 was released in 2005 and does not come with a mega-pixel camera, video camera or media player, features that BlackBerry devices released after 2005 now come with. If you are exchanging your phone for a new one and want to clear out your contact data, you can do so by deleting it through the BlackBerry Desktop Manager's "Backup/Restore" feature.

Launch the BlackBerry Desktop Manager by double-clicking its icon.
