How to Send a Birthday Cupcake

For a special treat on a friend's birthday, you can send him a birthday cupcake. Pick out his favorite type of cupcake and surprise him with a delivery during the day. Local Bakeries

1. Use your local phone book or conduct a search on Google.com to find bakeries in your area. Call the bakery to see if they offer delivery services for birthday cupcakes.

2. 

   Check to see if your local bakery offers cupcake delivery services.

   If services are offered, order your friend's favorite type of cupcake. Also request a particular icing or topping for the cupcake. If you'd prefer, arrange to go in and sample the different types of cake that are offered by the bakery.

3. Schedule the delivery date and approximate time. If the cupcake is to be delivered to your friend's home, then provide his address. You will need to be certain that someone will be at this location to receive the cupcake. To deliver the cupcake to your friend's work location, provide his business address, including any suite or floor numbers.

4. Pay for the cupcake and delivery fee over the phone or go to the bakery and pay in person. Keep your receipt. Ask to add a special message or card with the delivery.

2. In the category heading, use the drop-down menu to select "Birthday Cakes" in order to narrow your search.

3. Type in your location at the top of the screen to search for a delivery business near you or scroll through the locations listed at the bottom of the page. When you are typing in your location, you may need to include a large area for your distance. Click "search" to view your results.

4. Choose the bakery you'd prefer from the items listed. Clicked the bakery and use the information on screen to contact that location and place your order.
