How to Get iTunes to Not Auto Sync

How to Get iTunes to Not Auto Sync thumbnail
When connecting an Apple device to your computer via the USB cord, iTunes opens and syncs its contents by default.

When you plug an iPod, iPhone or iPad into your computer via the USB cable that came with the device, iTunes automatically syncs the device by default. Sometimes, however, all you want to do is charge the device via the cable. Additionally, you may not want iTunes to delete or add files to your device without first checking to make sure your preferences are the way you like them. You can easily prevent automatic syncing via the "Preferences" menu in iTunes.
