How to Remove My Mac iBook G4's Extra Memory
Apple issued various models of the iBook G4 between 2003 and 2006. By design, the laptop's memory and wireless network card (AirPort Extreme) are easily accessible should you want to upgrade either device. Since the iBook cannot operate without a memory module installed, removing one requires that you replace the module with another before you can boot the computer again.
