TurboTax is tax preparation software developed by Intuit Inc. This online software allows you to create and prepare individual federal and state income tax returns. To access your TurboTax account, you will need to enter your TurboTax user ID and password. This user ID serves as your TurboTax account number for the purposes of accessing your tax returns and purchasing TurboTax subscriptions. If you don't remember your TurboTax user ID, you can use the retrieval tool available from the TurboTax sign in home page.
Go to the TurboTax online sign in home page.
Click the "Can't access your account?" link.
Select the "I forgot my user ID" option.
Enter your email address. If you don't remember which email address you used to register for TurboTax, the system will also allow you to enter two additional email addresses you may have used during the registration process.
Click the "Continue" button.
Check your email's inbox. TurboTax will automatically send your user ID to all of the entered email addresses. This user ID is the TurboTax account number used to access your TurboTax account.
