How to Update a Bank Account for Google AdSense

So much of the Internet is monetized with AdSense that you might not even notice the ads anymore unless a pertinent one catches your eye. If you've monetized your blog or website with Google AdSense, you will need to update Google with your bank account information in order to get paid. Google will send you a check if your total owed reaches $100, but you might prefer the $10 threshold for direct deposit into your bank account.

      Wait until your total amount owed reaches at least $10. Google will not allow you to add any payment information until that payment threshold has been reached.

      Go to the Google AdSense website at Google.com/adsense and log in to your account. Look at the column on the left and click on the link for Account Settings. This will take you to your account page.

      Look down the page until you see the heading for Payment Settings. The first item on the list is "Payment Method." Click on the link to edit your payment method to go to the page for payment information.

      Fill in the text boxes with your bank account information. Double-check all account information, then save the changes to your account.
