How to Assign Drive Letters in Vista
Drive letters are alphabetical identifiers for your disk drives in Microsoft Vista. The main hard drive is typically assigned the "C" drive letter. You are not stuck with the default drive letters in Microsoft Vista. Microsoft Vista's Disk Management tool allows you to change your disk drive letters as you deem fit. You can add, change or remove drive letters.
