Christmas is a particularly hard time of year when it comes to paying bills and budgeting for presents for your children, especially for low-income families. There are associations that can help so you don't have to let your children down. A tip is to look for this help at least a month or two before the season arrives. Visit your local police or fire department to ask about children's Christmas programs. Fill out an application to see if you qualify. Be sure to fill out these applications a few months before the holidays. This will give the association time to put your kids on their Christmas list.
