How to Transfer an Email Picture From My Computer to a Picture Folder
Sharing pictures with friends has become extremely easy to do with the invention of computers, digital photography and the Internet. Images can be sent to recipients in emails for viewing and downloading later. If you want to save the picture onto your computer for easier viewing, there are two basic ways to do this depending on if the file is embedded or attached. For an embedded file, you can save the image. For attached files, you can download it.

For Embedded Files

Scroll down to the image embedded in the email that you want to save.

Right-click on the image in the email and select "Save Picture As". Depending on your browser and email client, it might also say "Save Image" or "Save File".

Locate the folder you want to save the image in in the window that opens.

Click "Save" and the image will now be saved in the folder you selected.
For Attachments

Locate and click the "Download Attachment" button in the email. It is usually at the end of the email, but this can vary depending on your email client.

Select the folder you want to save the picture to in the window that opens.

Click "Save." You will now be able to view the image in that folder.
