How to Set the Pointer Speed on a Bluetooth Mouse
Mouse settings can be customized according to personal preference. In desktop environment, mouse pointer plays an important role as an input device. It is important that mouse pointer is easy to navigate especially when playing games. A variety of options are available to change the settings according to user needs in both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. Pointer of a Bluetooth mouse can also be personalized once properly connected to the computer.

Click the "Start" button on the taskbar. Click "Control Panel."

Type mouse in the search box on the top right corner. Click "Change mouse settings."

Click "Pointer Options" tab inside the "Mouse Properties" window.

Adjust the speed of the pointer by dragging the slider under "Motion" category. Increase the speed of mouse pointer by dragging the slider towards right and decrease the speed by dragging the slider towards left.

Save the changes by clicking "OK."
Mac OS X

Click "Apple" menu on the top left corner then click "System Preferences."

Click "Keyboard & Mouse" then click "Mouse" tab.

Adjust the "Tracking" slider for the mouse pointer speed. Move the slider right to increase the speed and left to decrease the speed.
