How to Make a Fake Breast Using JELL-O thumbnail
Jell-O isn't just for kids.

Fake Jell-O breasts are a party snack that are sure to elicit giggles all around. Making a fake Jell-O breast is as easy as making any other Jell-O confections--as long as you have the right mold. For authenticity, head to your local costume shop and pick up a pair of fake plastic breasts. They're thin, rigid and hollow on the inside--perfect for the job. They're also easy to find online if your local costume shop refuses to carry them. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Fill the breast mold with water one cup at a time. Record how many cups it took to fill it. This will determine how much peach Jell-O you need to buy. For each 1.5 cups of water, buy one 3oz. package of peach Jell-O.

    • 2

Wash the interior and exterior of the fake plastic breasts with soap, water and a sponge. Rinse and rub the interior of the mold with your fingertips. When you hear a squeaky sound as you rub it means all of the soap residue is gone. Let the mold air dry.

    • 3

Coat the interior of the breast mold with a thin film of vegetable oil. Spray oil is easy to apply. If you rup it on with a paper towel, be sure to wipe off any excess so that you are just left with a thin sheen.

    • 4

Pour the peach Jell-O powder into a large bowl.

    • 5

Pour one cup of boiling water per 3 oz. package of Jell-O into the bowl. Stir until the Jell-O is completely dissolved.

    • 6

Pour the contents of a one 9oz. can of evaporated skimmed milk into the molten Jell-O for every 2 cups of boiling water you added. Stir well.

    • 7

Place the breast mold in a plastic bin filled with packing peanuts (or crumpled newspaper or sand--anything with a stabilizing effect) so that it is leveled and stable.

    • 8

Pour the Jell-O into the breast mold.

    • 9

Place the breast mold into the refrigerator. It will take at least 3 hours for the Jell-O to set.

    • 10

Remove the breast mold of Jell-O from the bin and place it on the table. Fill the bin with warm water and dip the exterior of the breast mold in the warm water to loosen the Jell-O.

    • 11

Flip the breast mold over (Jell-O side down) on a serving tray. The Jell-O breasts will pop right out.

Tips & Warnings

  • Peach Jell-O will give you the most authentic breast color (watermelon works too if you can't find peach). But feel free to play around with other colors. Skip the milk (replace with the same amount of cold water) to make clear Jell-O breasts.

  • For jigglier breasts, add another 1/4 cup of cold water per package.

  • If you want to add a fruit nipple to your Jell-O breasts, wait until the breasts have set in the refrigerator for one hour. Then use a chopstick or skewer to slide a piece of fruit through the middle of the Jell-O mold and rest it in the nipple indentation.
