How to Remove a Screen Protector on a Television
Many flat-screen televisions are shipped with a protective film over the screen. This screen-protector film prevents the screen from being scratched while in transit. Since these films can affect the picture quality of the television, most owners prefer to remove them. Users also can add aftermarket screen protectors that may need to be removed if they become scratched.

Tips & Warnings
After you remove the protector, wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth and a cleaner designed for electronics to remove any smudges.
Don't pull the screen protector off too quickly or it may tear and leave small pieces on the screen. If you have any small pieces left, use the cellophane tape to remove them.
